Eriksen Collapses on Pitch, Resuscitated by Team Doctors
Copenhagen, June 13, 2021 - Danish soccer star Christian Eriksen has suffered a cardiac arrest during his team's match against Finland at the European Championship. The incident occurred in the first half of the match, when Eriksen collapsed on the pitch near the sideline. Team doctors and paramedics rushed to his aid and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Eriksen Resuscitated, Sent to Hospital
Eriksen was successfully resuscitated on the field and was transported to a nearby hospital. His condition is currently stable, but he remains under observation. The Danish Football Association has released a statement saying that Eriksen is conscious and able to communicate.
